Cervical Screening Tests

Are you due for your Cervical Screening Test?  This test used to be called a pap smear or pap test. Now recommended for women every 5 years from aged 25 through to having an exit test between 70-74 years old.  This simple test aims to pick up a virus that we know is linked to Cervical Cancer.  It is done in the same way as a pap smear but using more accurate technology.  Keep in mind that if you have been putting off this test and are overdue you may be eligible for a self-collection in the clinic.

Our Nurse Practitioner, Donna Rumbiolo, and Practice Nurse, Connie Fairmaid, are certified cervical screening providers and can also provide education and advice on many topics during this consultation such as, but not limited to contraception, sexually transmitted infections and continence.

To book an appointment with one of the Nurses or GPs, please call us on 03 5821 3555.
