Ali’s obstetrics and gynaecology journey began in 2005, across esteemed tertiary hospitals in Australia, Egypt and the UK. Ali went on to complete his senior Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at Monash Health. In 2019, he was awarded his RANZCOG Fellowship. He then achieved the highest level of accreditation in advanced laparoscopic surgery from the Australasia Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES), after his fellowship at Nepean Hospital in NSW.
Specialising in the management of complex gynaecological conditions such as Advanced Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain, Ali employs the latest surgical and non-surgical treatments to offer his patients the highest standard of care.
Ali’s patient-centred approach is characterised by a commitment to shared decision-making and open communication, ensuring patients are well-informed of their treatment and choices. Beyond his clinical duties, Ali is dedicated to the mentorship of medical students and junior doctors, contributing significantly to medical education and research.
Ali is proficient in a wide array of gynaecological issues, including:

· Complex endometriosis and pelvic surgery including stage IV endometriosis and subfertility related to endometriosis

· Laparoscopic hysterectomy (including large uterus)
· Laparoscopic myomectomy (fibroid removal)
· Heavy/abnormal/post-menopausal uterine bleeding
· Management of ovarian cysts and masses
· Pelvic floor disorders and prolapse
